Visitor Information
Visitation
Visitors are always welcome at Franklin County Memorial Hospital. We understand that visits by family members and friends are vital in your recovery. We ask that a few simple rules be followed while visiting FCMH.
Visitation Guidelines
- Please limit visitors to two or three at a time.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the hospital.
- Don't bring food or drink to the patient without the approval of the attending physician.
- No children under age 12 without the approval of the attending physician.
- Normal visitation hours are from 8:00 AM through 9:00 PM. Because our patients need their rest, we ask that all visitors abide by these guidelines. Guest beds will be provided for those individuals wishing to stay with their loved ones over night.
Dining
The cafeteria is available to both visitors and staff during breakfast and lunch.
Cafeteria hours are as follows:
Breakfast 7:30 am – 8:30 am
Lunch 11:45 am – 12:30 pm
Requests for guest trays are made through Nursing Services. Please contact Nursing Services in advance if you would like a guest tray. Vending machines are located in the lobby of the hospital. Should you lose your money in the vending machines, please report the loss to the Front Office.
Smoking
Visitors who smoke are asked to do so only in the designated areas. Smoking in the hospital is strictly prohibited.
